I specialize in: Helping non-traditional learners find their strengths and minimizing their weaknesses. Increasing student's confidence for learning. Address learning needs for students with special needs such as LD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Executive Function, ADHD, ADD, and NVLD. I understand how anxiety, depression, and social skill deficits get in the way of learning as well as making and keeping friends. Through tutoring and coaching I can help your child learn the strategies they need to be successful in school and in life and learn to advocate for him/herself and become more confident. In addition, I tutor for the SAT's as well as college counseling.
Let me help your child by providing structure and supporting them until they can work independently. All students have a unique array of issues, goals and desired outcomes. We all learn differently and that is okay. Education should not be one size fits all.
